Back from my hiatus….

I took a bit of a break from all things electronic–not all things, I kept my Kindle. But I shut everything else off. It was pretty nice too. The only down fall is my email is packed, and I’ve been having panic attacks from not writing. So today, I’m digging in to write, write, and possibly edit some. I have the first four chapters pretty ok…I’m harsh on myself so I won’t state more than that. I am thinking about deleting the entire first chapter. Not sure yet. I like it for the characterization, but I can see where it’s a tad boring. The first chapter should be anything but boring. I’m on the fence about it. I wish I had more people who are willing to read it but most writers I meet online either don’t have the time or refuse to read romance especially with sex scenes. I do need to get as much of it edited as possible so I can send it off to my editor.

I also have a bunch of book reviews to get caught up on since I’ve avoided all technology. I read and spent time with my family. After Christmas, my teen boys were all about their new video games, so what’s a book nerd to do but read? I have numerous books to write up reviews about since I read so much. I even re-read a few books. I realized that I have numerous books and book series by the same authors. I’m thinking about starting an author spotlight on a certain day each week. It’s a thought that has been bouncing around in my head the last two days…What do you think? What would you like to know from the authors? A top ten list? An interview? Tell me in the comments!

I love to read! I review books for contemporary fiction, young adult, and romance novels. I read the majority of my novels on my Kindle.
