Review and Excerpt: The Locker Room by Meghan Quinn

Review Who doesn’t love a hot, sexy, baseball player with a sensitive side? Knox has all of that in spades. What I love about Meghan Quinn’s writing is her constant use of humor which appears in vastly different ways in each of her books. Emory’s quirkiness and her two best friends along with Knox’s fellowContinue reading “Review and Excerpt: The Locker Room by Meghan Quinn”

Review: Breaking the Plan by Jessica Calla

I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. I love love love Oliver. I also have a slight weakness for those nerdy hotties too. Oliver, he has a plan. A plan for his entire future. He wrote this plan in high school and has made a few alterations to theContinue reading “Review: Breaking the Plan by Jessica Calla”

Book Review: Winter Kisses by Addison Moore

Book 2 of 3 AM Kisses Series Book 1: 3 AM Kisses I loved book one so much that I bought the second and third book. Laney was hilarious and an incredible friend to Baya in book 1. I knew that her book would be filled with dramatics especially since she’s an actress. The dramaticsContinue reading “Book Review: Winter Kisses by Addison Moore”

Book Review: 3 A.M. Kisses by Addison Moore

Book 1 of the 3 AM Kisses series   This is one of my favorite books…and I’ve been working my way through the series for the past year. So far there are 17 books! I have read this book at least four or five times…or that’s a lie. I lost track of how many timesContinue reading “Book Review: 3 A.M. Kisses by Addison Moore”

Book Review: Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott

Book 1 of Beautiful Hearts Duet.  This is a college love triangle of sorts– Autumn, Connor, and Weston. This isn’t a menage-trois. It is a story about three people trying to find their identity and in the process fall in love. Connor is the typical rich boy but without the snobbery. The son ofContinue reading “Book Review: Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott”

Book Review: Chasing my Forever by Heidi McLaughlin

I love love love Quinn James and his introverted ways. Part of it could be due to the fact that y son is extremely introverted. I could see many of the same traits in both Quinn and my son. Once Quinn picks up a guitar, he transforms. He comes alive. Music runs through him. He doesn’t have a single memory without music or band life. He grew up on a tour bus, recording studio, or where ever his drummer father was. Quinn loves his quiet life. He plays on open mic nights where he meets Eleanora Boone fresh from college.

Eleanora is from a rich southern family, deeply rooted in traditions. One tradition is unofficial arranged marriages. She was dating Roy all through high school. She thought she was in love with him. But shortly after she left, Roy was dating other women. Sure, in high school there were rumors that Roy was cheating on her with other women. She never had proof. She was in love with him so she believed everything he said. He has been pressuring her to come home so they can announce their engagement. Even though he hasn’t asked her. Even her parents are talking about the engagement. This is one of the many reasons why she picked a college far away from South Carolina. Now, she’s a college graduate. She’s expected to come home and marry Roy. Just the thought sends waves of panic through her. When the opportunity arises to drive her graduation present home instead of flying, she takes it. Instead of driving home, she drives to California and shares an apartment with her college friend, Kellie.

BOOK REVIEW: Forget You, Ethan by Whitney G

Another great read from my personal library. This is the first Whitney G book, I’ve read and will be reading more. Actually, I have two more of her books in my Amazon wish list. This novel is an enemies to lovers with a slight twist. To be honest, I don’t think they were ever enemiesContinue reading “BOOK REVIEW: Forget You, Ethan by Whitney G”
