Writing and editing woes

I began writing a new novel in November with NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I mostly finished it it about a week or so ago. I’ve been editing it since. My editing process has been very slow moving. I love jumping back into the story with the characters. I wonder if I’m telling the story in the right order or if I’m missing aspects of it.

I decided to find Beta readers evidently they are a huge deal. After doing some research on it, I think I’m at that place where I need more opinions on my writing. It would help disspell the doubt and worry about my story. While there are numerous people on twitter who say they are beta readers, very few actually respond. I did get two to respond the last time I posted. But I received very little feedback. It was a bit disheartening. I’m following others who have endured this process previously and following their advice. That beta readers do that. Some disappear altogether. I shouldn’t get frustrated about it.

My current goal is to continue editing and find more beta readers.

I love to read! I review books for contemporary fiction, young adult, and romance novels. I read the majority of my novels on my Kindle.
