My own writing….

I may slow down on reviewing, cover reveals, and book promotions during the month of November due to NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month. I’ve been stuck on a particular novel for the last few years because the main character just refuses to talk to me. This past week, her best friend has been talking to me, so instead of working on my previous novel–I’m going to write her best friend’s story. Dee has really been talking. I’m trying to get as much down as quickly as possible. This character is going to keep me busy. I’m hoping in the process, she will give me an insight into my previous character, Lizzy.

I didn’t realize how long I’ve been away from my writing until I logged into my NaNoWriMo account. I feel refreshed. I should be depressed because I just lost my job and I’m having numeorus difficulties finding a replacement job. But every time, I sit down to write either on my laptop of jotting down an idea in the middle of folding laundry; I’m excited–revitalized. I can’t wait to wake up so I can write another scene or edit the previous day’s writing.

What makes you feel the same way?

I love to read! I review books for contemporary fiction, young adult, and romance novels. I read the majority of my novels on my Kindle.
