The first time I read this book it was okay. I re-read it after receiving a notice from Amazon that the following two books in the series was available. Selene’s book intrigued me since it had been so long since I read Brax and Kylie’s story–I needed to re-read it. For some reason, this time, I loved the book. I’m not sure if it was just my mood before or the fact that previously I was incredibly stingy with handing out star ratings on Goodreads and Amazon.
A heartbreaking second chance romance that pulls all the heart strings. This is one of the few books, I’ve cried while reading. It doesn’t help that my grandparents had a farm growing up so many of my own memories intermingled with this story and characters. It is a must read!
Brenton Graves left his grandfather’s ranch right after high school for college. Both he and his brother, Caleb attended school in Dallas–six hours away from the ranch. It also placed both boys closer to their alcoholic father who uses people, women, and drug more than toilet paper. Too bad Brenton doesn’t remember much from his teen years through to his early twenties. Until he woke up in a rehab center with his grandfather looking over him.

This cute little novella–actually it’s more like a short story was sent to me by the author. I really want to read more about Lou Junior and the antics from this wedding weekend. I can feel that nothing is going to go right for Tina.
Tina is on her way to her sister and her ex boyfriend’s wedding. Yeah, isn’t that what we all want to do. Her mother calls her while on the ferry to remind Tina of everything that she has to do during the weekend and to ensure that Tina hasn’t forgotten anything. As a reader, and I think Tina too, mom just wants to make sure that Tina is coming and isn’t going to ruin little sis’ big day. None of that is truly said.

Book 7–For the Love of a Good Woman Series. The final installment in this series completely wrecked me. It took me awhile to come to grips with the ending. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but it doesn’t have a happily ever after ending that most romance novels have. Ryan has been craving what…
