Royal Romance Synopsis: What girl doesn’t want to wear a tiara? Me. The one who lives in yoga pants and knows she’s not special enough to be a princess. One minute I’m starting my dream life in NYC, and the next, a man too hot for his own good is banging on my door, telling…
Sebastian Reed is the owner of Reed Securities. His current assignment takes back to the field and away from his desk. Sebastian has been working 12-16 hours a day at his office to run his security business, but he rarely leaves his desk. He thinks that due to having limited eye sight in his left eye, he shouldn’t be in the field. Sebastian has no choice. All of his employees are already on assignment. Sebastian needs to take the meeting at a Pittsburgh newspaper for protection detail of a reporter–Maggie.
Looking almost smug, she sat. “I’m not sitting because you told me to. I’m doing it because I’m hungry and I want to.”
Right. I didn’t say shit.
“I saw that. I saw that smirk on your face.” She took a bite.
She didn’t see shit. “You’ll see what I want you to see.”
“Oh.” She laughed through the word. “Okay, sure, Mr. I’m-A-Tank, I can control everything. Well, guess what? You can’t control me.”
I abruptly stood and kicked the stool out behind me. Before she even had a chance to blink, I’d grabbed her around the waist and lifted her skinny ass to the counter. Stepping between her legs, I took two handfuls of her thick hair I couldn’t keep my hands out of and crashed my mouth over hers.
She didn’t gasp. She didn’t push me away. She didn’t even hesitate.
Not what the hell I thought I’d be doing with my life.
Especially not for a spoiled Hollywood actress on location in Miami Beach. But triple pay and carrying a gun had its advantages. I’d shove away paparazzi and screaming fans for a lot less. The Marines trained me to be Force Recon—intimidation and crowd control was child’s play compared to four tours. This assignment should’ve been easy money.
But the doe-eyed starlet with the perfect ass dragged me down her rabbit hole. Living for the spotlight, she leaked the perfect scandal. I warned her making headlines wasn’t in my job description, but she kept smiling for the cameras.
Now she was going to find out just how scandalous a bodyguard could be.
